We are excited to continue both our Junior Clinics and Leagues this Spring, with teaching pro Laura Craft supervising the fun.
Registration and payment deadline is Friday, April 6th.
But what exactly is Junior League, you ask.
The GVRC Junior League was established to give our junior clinic participants the opportunity to put their tennis skills to work at the end of the clinic season…in a fun, indoor, match play format. It is for those who want to continue to learn the game strategies first hand, and fine tune their decision-making skills on the court with proper shot selection, court positioning, and mental toughness.
Th clinic also makes the junior player feel comfortable on the court, and this comfort combined with the skills learned, will help to develop a well-rounded game for any junior player.
This is a FUN and FRIENDLY competition and will give juniors more experience with match play as many decide to move on to USTA, school and tournament play. All junior players ages 8 and up who can serve, rally and keep score are welcome to participate.
Beyond being fun and a great form of exercise, Junior League is a competitive, level-based environment that promotes individual and social growth and life skills.
Our Junior League will help your child learn about unity, sportsmanship and how to work together to achieve success.
