Many of our students will be familiar with Bob, who worked with them during the winter and spring clinics.
Bob, a certified instructor in both PTR 10 and under and for the 11- to 17-age groups, has more than 40 years of playing experience and has taught in junior and summer camps for the last six.
His focus is for students to have fun and enjoy the game he has loved since he was a child.
“I want kids to learn the same values I learned from the game; that it can be both social and competitive, that consistent work and having confidence in yourself will bring results, and that sportsmanship and fair play will lead to both a lifetime of enjoying tennis and a lifetime of friendships,” Campbell says.
Bob is also certified in Red Cross First AID/CPR/AED and USTA Net Generation. In addition to playing on numerous USTA teams, Bob competes in running and cycling races and is a Level 1 certified ski instructor at Bear Creek Mountain Resort. He and his wife Diane have been married for 34 years and have two adult daughters, Kristen, a financial analyst, and Elise, a doctor.
